Module 7 - Model Calibration and Analysis
Course Learning Outcome: Collaborating with classmates, produce a suite of models
Module Outcomes:
- Run and calibrate your model using your methodology.
- Implement your model.
- Analyze your model.
Activities:
- Run your model using the methods described in the previous module. Calibrate your model against a known data set. Using the wiki add a results section that includes the calibration results, graphs, and tables.
- If needed, rewrite your methodology to accurately represent what you did.
- Design two scenarios that ask “what if?” questions and run them through your model. Describe the scenarios in your methods section and present scenarios results in the results section.
- In the wiki manuscript, add a written discussion of your model. Include how well you have achieved the original goal of the paper, carried out the objectives, and what the implications are of your calibration and scenario results. Please support your discussion with references from the literature to place your model into a larger context.
